Well we are now half way through October, the nights are drawing in and each morning my outfits have to be planned around how many layers I need to wear before stepping foot outside.

After doing a little shopping spree to get some new jumpers, I thought I'd share one of the outfits I've popped together, incorporating one of these new cosy jumpers. I decided to take a trip to Portobello beach - in my 2 and a bit years at Edinburgh, I was yet to take the trip out here, but finally dug out the correct change for the bus in order to test out this outfit.

This little trip also served as an occasion to try out my new camera. In summer my little digital one got stolen, as well as my iphone, leaving me with nothing to get good photos on. And since my blog has been growing, I thought it was time to invest in a good quality camera to get those good quality photos. So these photos have been taken with my very new and treasured Canon bridge camera - let me know if you notice a difference!
